Abstract

With the primary processing of fruits of gourds there is a problem of developing means of mechanization to obtain seeds. The study allowed developing a technological line for isolating seeds from gourds fruits on the basis of existing methods. The productivity of the proposed line is 15...17 t /h, the purity of seeds is 95-98%, the seed damage is less than 0.5%, and the total seed losses do not exceed 2.5%, which corresponds to agrotechnical requirements.
