Abstract

The article examines the essence of aquaponics technology and its comparison with other technologies. The advantages and disadvantages of this technology are presented. The ecological and economic characteristics of aquaponics are analyzed. Three alternative variants of low-capacity projects for growing sturgeon and wheat greens are presented and calculated. Annual production figures for projects with different cultivation options are presented. The annual costs for the studied options are given. Economic efficiency indicators are calculated and analyzed.
