The most important task of the state is to ensure its food security. A well-organized grain economy plays an important role in this task. Recently, there has been a clear tendency to increase gross collections of grain crops both in Russia and in certain regions. At the same time, modern breeding cannot ensure rapid rates of production of high-yielding varieties that meet modern requirements. In this regard, the improvement of the technology of cultivation of cereals is at the forefront. According to some scientists, the effect of technology on the yield of cereals is up to 60%. Current intensive technologies are at the limit of ensuring maximum yield of grain crops. There is a need to introduce new modern technologies that not only ensure high yields of grain crops, but high grain quality, would allow preserving and increasing soil fertility.
